ShadeTree "Tusany" Italian Bread
Our 3rd bread….and Tammy’s favorite bread to bake. A Garlic, Rosemary and Parmesan cheese bread that when baking...makes your home smell so much like Italy or somewhere in Tuscany.
The name? True story. When I ordered the labels for TusCany I mistakenly left out the ”C”. So it was only proper and fitting we call this bread “Tusany”.
Tusany takes 24 hours from start to finish. Mix AP flour, salt, yeast, water along with parmesan cheese, fresh chopped Garlic and Rosemary. Add sliced green olives. Let the ingredients ferment for 24 hours then bake in a Dutch Oven.
Best served dipped in your favorite olive oil…or makes an amazing Italian Panini Sandwich. Tammy likes this bread with our homemade marinara covered with fresh mozzarella cheese baked in the oven. So good!
We hope you enjoy this bread with friends, family and loved ones.
